Cookie policy
LineupUK currently uses only the storage needed to sign barbers in and keep the service secure.

1. What cookies are
Cookies are small pieces of information stored by a browser. Similar technologies can also store or read information on a device. This policy calls all of them “cookies” for simplicity.
2. Cookies LineupUK currently configures
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Maximum life |
|---|---|---|---|
sb-<project-ref>-auth-token and numbered chunks | LineupUK / Supabase | Strictly necessary authentication, session refresh and account security. | Up to 400 days, refreshed as needed, or removed when you sign out. |
A long session-cookie ceiling does not mean an access token remains valid for that whole period. Short-lived credentials are refreshed and can be revoked; signing out removes the browser session cookies.
Our public forms run a Cloudflare Turnstile bot check, which loads from Cloudflare’s own domain and may store a short-lived value in your browser for that domain. It is strictly necessary to stop automated abuse of the signup, login, password-reset and newsletter forms, and is not used for advertising or audience measurement.
3. Why there is no consent banner
The authentication cookies above and the Turnstile bot check are strictly necessary to provide the signed-in service requested by a barber. They are not used for advertising or audience measurement. UK cookie rules exempt strictly necessary cookies from prior consent, although we must still explain them clearly.
4. Analytics and advertising
LineupUK does not currently configure analytics, advertising, retargeting or cross-site tracking cookies. We will update this policy and obtain valid consent before setting any non-essential cookie. Rejecting a future non-essential cookie will be as easy as accepting it and will not block core booking or account features.
5. Browser controls
You can inspect, block or delete cookies through browser settings. Blocking the essential authentication cookie prevents sign-in and dashboard use. Clearing it signs you out but does not delete the account.
6. Changes and contact
We re-audit this list whenever analytics, support chat, advertising or a new authentication provider is introduced. Questions can be sent to bookings@lineupuk.com. See the Privacy Policy for broader information about personal data.
